An event to celebrate the resilience and inspiration of Big Basin post-CZU fire, with exhibits that showcased art by 18 artists who participated in the Big Basin Art About in 2023, guided walks and other community activities.

Dos Rios opened during the 3rd annual California State Parks Week. Artist Jose “Pepe” Muñóz highlighted the integration of arts in parks and painted a scene depicting Dos Rios wildlife.

A performance by the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Jazz Ensemble at the Forest Theater showcased young talent and highlighted the importance of performance opportunities for young artists.

A free Poetry In Parks event featuring music, art, and poetry by local talents at Tahoe State Recreation Area hosted by Reno Poet Laureate Jesse James Ziegler, and with Washoe Tribe Councilman Lydell Wyatt to welcome attendees to the space.

An immersive experience with Pond Farm Pottery’s May Artist in Residence, Sue Ellen McCann, who hosted a natural dyeing workshop as part of the Artist in Residence Program at Pond Farm.
